NYX also makes a colorless wax pencil. Here is the link to the product on their website : http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/p-62-eyebrow-shaper-ebs01.aspx  They have it listed at $8.75, but I believe I got it for less than that at Ulta. (It may have been on sale or I might have used a coupon.) I quickly looked at cherryculture.com and they have it listed at $6.60.
oh thanks for the info.once my nyx clear wax is done will order this one.however I am really happy with my DDB .i second that mac should make these perm.

I missed the online launch for this and ended up ordering earlier in the month when it was on backorder at Nordies, I should get it on Monday. I picked up the 208 as well and can't wait to use it. I've been using a brow kit from nyx to fill in and sometimes a dark brown pencil. I have the stupid one brow higher than the other problem so I hope DDB looks natural on me.
DDB will look lovely on you. You will freak out at how natural looking it is

Thanks! This is the kind of product i'm looking for. An ULTA is supposed to open near me soon, or at least some time this year. Guess i'll keep using that moustache wax until then. Gotta get my $5 worth...

Finally picked up a fluidline gel brow creme in DDB and after using it for the first time yesterday, I love it! Very easy to use and it surely stays put all day. Hopefully they do make them permanent.

i dont like DDB anymore. its too light for me. I dont care what any makeup artist says about Stud being too dark for me. I love my Stud Pencil and I always will !!!!

Me wearing my lover Stud pencil on my brows::

It looks good to me! I think as long as you apply it lightly it's not too dark. DDB did nothing for me.. it's way too red. I tried making it work but I couldn't. I'll stick to my anastacia powder and hope they come out with more colors.

Thank you. But it seems like anytime i tell an artist i wear stud they give me a stank face and say its not for me so for a while i really thought maybe ppl are looking at me like i got crazy eyebrows or something lmao. But ive realized im the one wearing the makeup so whatever makes me feel comfortable will always come first lol

and yes i think thats what was wrong with DDB it was way too warm looking on me. I love how it felt though. Too bad it didnt come in a color id like :(

Uh-oh! I ordered DDB fluidline to try on my brows since everyone was raving about those babies. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but this is not inspiring any confidence, lol. I think we've already discussed this, but I've had the same experience with MAC artists and my brows. I feel Spiked is definitely too light for me, but I've had MAC artists say it's good and that no one really needs to wear Stud. Funny, because I wear Stud every day, including around friends who are awesome at makeup and not afraid to say what's on their mind, and no one has ever told me I'm using the wrong color brow pencil! I'll try DDB tonight, but I have a feeling I might be clinging to my Stud the same as you.

^^^ You won't know if you like it until you try it. I'm curious to hear your thoughts once/if you do.

I love the DDB Brow Fluidline. Before this I was wearing Spiked with success. Never tried Stud. I wondered if I should try Stud but Spiked was great so I figured no need.

Hopefully you'll like it you never know. But DDB is lighter than stud. If you dont like it at least you had the chance to try it. If you like it then great! But you wont know til you get it

If anyone's still reading this...

As i've said before, my eyebrows are naturally very thin, but in my right brow the hairs have taken to kinda standing up at an angle recently (like they're taking a flying leap), which looks strange and make my brow even less visible without brow product. I have an Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel which goes on with a spoolie, but my brows are really too thin and sparse for it to work well. It ends up clumping and smearing, and still doesn't make my brows lie down and behave.

I was in sephora recently and saw quite a few brow pencils of uncolored microcrystalline wax. Sounds good, except i hate to spend over $20 for a colorless wax pencil. Even MAC's Brow Finisher is $16 for a stick of wax.

Does anyone know of a similar drug store version? I didn't see one when i was in my local CVS, but it isn't always very well stocked. I was so desperate i bought a $5 tube of mustache wax, but i think a firmer wax pencil would work better. Help!

IDK if you consider it a drugstore price, but Urban Decay makes the brow beater pencils which are good, have a little miniature spoolie brush on the end, and have clear wax on one side and pencil on the other--great quick tool I keep in my purse. They can be purchased at a discount price from places like ACW and such that sell UD at less than retail. The pencils are just meh, but the whole product is great and at the discount price, is probably better than any DS product at that price level. I like the UD Brunette Brow beater and have 2 or 3 circulating in various purse or make up bags at any given time...HTH

Tho I'm no longer at MAC, I still do makeup full time. I started my own on-site makeup business. I'm in Indiana. I'm so excited cuz i just booked a gig with a purse company for a print campaign!!!
