That's so funny you guys saw this post! I actually made an offer to see how low she would go yesterday but she counter offered for $130. I'm just upset that people are so impatient that they would rather spend 4x more for lipsticks they probably can get if they wait. I guess that's how evilbayers make their money.Hi Everyone!

On the topic of it releasing late, I was on Ebay earlier and it seems as if someone already got a hold of the products even before the actual launch date?! She "claims" it was purchased on the mac site, but obviously we all know there wasn't ANYTHING THERE!!Not to mention she's selling all three lippies (RRW, Heaux, and RRB) for $150!
Not sure if she was part of Rih's crew but seems as though it was put up for sale even before people started posting pictures of the actual products!

Thanks for your response! I know technically speaking I've not been swaplifted, but I just had a feeling that she was trying to do that to me. I planned to ship my lipstick yesterday or the day before and she knew that. I hope she'll respond later on and as long as she doesn't I just won't send my lipstick. I just felt a bit bad about doing that in case she is being honest with me and for some reason hasn't had a chance to contact me. I will contact Holstrom if I still haven't heard anything from her next week, because I don't want this to happen to anyone else if it's serious.
ETA: I got a response from the girl. If I had just waited a couple more hours...I feel so horrible that I assumed this. To the girl, I'm really so sorry about this

Don't ship it. That reeks. I wouldn't do it if I were you...I'm a bit annoyed that the international release date is now the 20th, because I have an exam that day, so I can't stalk the site in the morning
Also off topic, but has anyone ever been swaplifted before on specktra? I've never had a bad experience when buying/selling/swapping, but I'm thinking someone is trying to swaplift me now. She doesn't have any feedback and therefore we agreed to send eachother pics of the items and pics of the shipping receipts. I send her pics of the lipstick I'm going to send almost 3 days ago. She hasn't responded anymore after that. I asked if the pics were fine for her. I messaged her a day later that I wouldn't be able to ship the lipstick that day, because I was too busy with school. I also asked if she had been able to take her pics. Still no reponse...yesterday I send another message asking why she was not responding. I still have no response and now I'm scared to ship my lipstick to her. Before I send the pics to her she responded really quick within a couple hours, so I find it very strange. She told me that she has swapped on here before and also bought items. She didn't know about the feedback system here. I'm not sure if I believe that anymore. I feel bad about it, because she was very nice before on the forum when chatting. What should I do now?

My first offer was $50 LOL I was calculating how much each would be so I roughly through in $50 and she countered offered with $140 -______- then her last and final offer was $130, of course I declined and told her I'd just wait. She insisted I was making a huge mistake and that it was "my choice" to skip out. LOL stupid heaux!

before i found specktra i bought some things on ebay, but i don't think the costs were inflated by much compared to what i would have paid where i was living. it took me a while to realize that i could buy stuff from other members sale threads here and to feel comfortable with CPs, but it's a question of being connected as you say...there are a lot of people who live in countries where mac (and other companies) don't ship to, or where it can be costly anyway after paying the shipping etc... so i guess for them ebay 'feels' safe because it's kind of an institution at this point. the crazy reality is that it's totally not safe, unless you know that a seller is totally legit... if mac started shipping to absolutely everywhere, ebayers would probably lose a big chunk of their market....One already hasEven with Ebay taking out fees the seller is still making a nice chunk of change.
Sometimes it really pays to be patient or connected.
