I really need to see swatches of You've Got it and Flair for Finery. That will decide if I get both + Centre of Attention or CoA/Lured to Love/You've Got It or Flair for Finery.

I've red so many posts but I'm still a bit confused. Is the online release tomorrow or the 14th?

Talk of the town is soooo pretty, but really it looks like someone used a sparkly eye shadow as a blush. I'm not sure it's really worth it. I can appreciate a shimmer in a blush, but I'm not sure I'm feeling the chunkyness of this one. Bummer.

I'm skipping everything. I made the tough decision last night to go on a no buy

I need to buy baby stuff more than I need makeup at the moment.
Awwww.....baby stuff! I LOVE buying baby stuff! Congrats!

This is shaping up to be another skip. I wish some of the sets were new colors since the design is so cute. Is Night to Remember lipstick a repromote? It's part of the Stroke of Midnight MAC exclusive set.

Me too! It seems the lightest one somewhat resembles what Light Year might look like on the skin... Does anyone else think that may be the case?

Also, the cream with gold square MES reminds me of Summer Haze.

This collection really snuck up on us! I am starting to think they roll out the same colors/shades in these Mineralized collections and throw a different product design at us & expect us to snatch it all up! I LOVE MSF's but all the ones from the last collection are still available. That tells me that people are starting to get MUCH more choosey when purchasing these products. MSF's used to be a pretty unique product for MAC, but I don't need to keep buying the same shades.

All around just confused here! Need help!
I so agree. I have Light Year, Adored, Redhead, Amber Glow (a blush, but it acts just like a MSF) and Definitely Defined. They're all slightly different but the difference really isn't THAT apparent when applied with a light hand. I don't need yet another that's virtually indistinguishable just because the pattern is different.

I might be lured into that with a Pearlmatte or special powder a la Marine Life if the pattern is pretty enough, but for a highlighter? Skip.

I feel like the summer MSF's were gorgeous but I was going to pass on them entirely. Until someone really works with them and then talks about them to the point where we can judge how they will look on our skin tone, it's a crap shoot. For me, Liba did a really, really detailed review on here, then I was like--okay, I know what to do and which ones to get. She described the colors, which brushes to use, etc.

It's helpful to have Beautezine's swatches and pictures, but I still can't tell how it's going to look on my skin by looking at those because I can't tell the sparkle factor, enlarged pore factor, and uniqueness.

Lately, I've been using my Becca liquid highlighters because I know what I'm getting. My current plan is to skip these MSF's because until I see a reason to buy, I'm sticking with what I have. Maybe MAC should be sending products to Liba LOL. Anyway, just my two cents.
Hey thanks for the compliment. I definitely go out of my way to go into details on certain products because first of all, some of these things just don't photograph very well. If it's made to give really illusion, magical, subtle or sneaky effects, not getting an obvious, blatant photo is sort of the point. Also, when I try stuff on, it's usually with lots of time to play around with everything in different ways and sometimes there's just some weird product that the usual ways don't give flattering results, then BOOM, you try something different and all the pieces fall into place….call me a fan of the underdog! So, I like to get really analytical about it. I don't know why, but I really like to pass along my enthusiasm about cool, new concepts and I also hate to see people buy LE items willy nilly and then never actually wear them or try them once and return them.

I don't have a blog or anything - just get all enthusiastic and love coming here to share with my makeup loving internet buddies!!! If I ever do decide to blog it on up, though, it's kind of nifty to know my ideas and opinions are actually helpful, rather than just a lot of hot air flapped out of my lips!

I liked the summer MSF's too. And you're 100% correct that Liba's descriptions helped me a TON more when it came to those MSF's than ANY swatch! I initially only got 2 of those, but Liba convinced me to also grab Lust. I just think that those are all still available because people aren't just buying MSF's because they're MSF's anymore... like they may have done in the past. And I will definitely try to be more selective moving forward. As lots of people have mentioned, MAC pumps out these LE collections, I sometimes think the quality falls to the way-side. I hope that's not the case with these new MSF's but I cannot possibly think I "need" them all at this point!
Wish me luck! HeeHee
*sits and waits for Liba's review and descriptions... Liba be gentle please!*

I'm interested in the two lighter lipsticks and I want to see the eyeshadows! Not sure about the MSF as I picked up Adored and Rio this summer and I want to use them more before I splurge on more!

I understand that once your photo is online, it's for everyone I see & take! I get that! I'm not complaining about that. What I wasn't liking was that this person took the photo, didn't give credit or even asked me from my IG to repost & misinterpreted the whole entire photo. I asked to repost the original photos & have credit where it's due! & gave correct information. I'm not over here to be catty but if the individual is just taking photos, they should be able to give credit regardless if I'm on this website or not.
So far only Lavish Living for me.. and maybe Centre of attraction.

I hope we can stick with this approach once they launch! I have such a sickness for MSF's! And trust me, sometimes they are 100% worth every cent! However, I'm beginning to think that MAC KNOWS how much people love these products and don't think we'll notice that most of these are the same colors over and over... I appreciate the design creativity, but that doesn't mean I need the product anyways!
