Well I just did a side by side comparison on T's site. They look similar to me. I'm gonna call MAC and request a refund.

Called my local macy's and the AS said she just sold the last two. So I ordered online from the B site and nordies. Hopefully I will get OC either way.

I talked to a rep on the phone today for awhile!! I'm a total sales person myself so it's easy to have a conversation about anything. Lol She said about 400 orders were affected, I didn't clarify if that was all the original orders or if they hadn't included future callers. Anyway that's 12k not including all those shipping costs that had to eat. It sucks that someone(s) messed up organizing the set up for packing. I'm sure they paid a high price for their mistake. I received my refund. I have one on hold with my macys. They don't sound worried about it selling out immediately, anyway though. I could possibly do a CP for someone but I won't know how much they have left until I go Saturday. I didn't like RP so I'm happy it's different. I find RP to be like an other peach color but less idk quality? Pigmentation?

I still say mac has better quality orange blushes in their existing line vs ocean city. I was underwhelmed by swatches of it this morning. Sunset beach was a lot more pigmented.

How does Mangrove compare to Lady Danger (perhaps even Sail La Vie)?
i think Mangrove looks more red on Elegant cause has cool/pink Undertones. im Warm and Mangrove looked just like another Red Orange in the bunch. LD, SI. etc

Catching up on this thread. I'm afraid Mac will just issue refunds and move on. It's not like a distaster like this will make people stop buying Mac.

Yep people dont take into consideration that MAC lost alot of money in this Launch.

So um I just went digging in my bag to get my blush and try it on. Lo and behold it was *cue dramatic music* SUNSET BEACH!!!!!!! The make up gods do NOT want me to have this blush!!!! I was so busy chatting with the MUA at the counter that I didn't notice what she sold me until just now. I'm bummed. This time because it was my fault for not paying attention. I was so excited this morning to get my hands on this item that I just didn't notice what she put in my bag until just now.

When I originally called I got stuck with a pretty dickish guy but I just got a phone call from MAC updating me on the situation. The woman was super sweet and apologetic, a supervisor from MAC.com. She said they're still awaiting a resolution and hope to have one by early next week. They're allegedly looking into reshipping the correct products if they're able to get them back in stock but I also had the option to be refunded. I need to call back/email them with my decision. Not sure what I should do though!

This is why I DO NOT LIKE MY COUNTER. I called another store in her face and she said it DOES. So I told the lady if she could go to the back and get it and she lied and said they don't have it at all. I TALKED TO A GIRL WHO CONFIRMED LAST NIGHT THEY HAD THE BLUSHES AND SHE PHYSICALLY CHECKED. I really try to be nice and not got off because I work retail but I always make sure to so my JOB. The counter I called will hold the bluh for me but now I have to go out of my way. Hmmm.

That's terrible! It sounds like some of those people are determined to be "right" even when they're wrong. Sounds like their boss should know what they're like.

I have to say that Sunset Beach is super pigmented, at least on my NW13 skin. I had to tone it down with an Hourglass powder.

It was for me too. I did a couple swipes with my 187 brush and my cheeks were so pink I had to tone it down with my foundation brush. It is beautiful though, a really nice natural flush. I think it will be my go-to blush. I like it so much I ordered a backup from Nordstrom. And regarding pigmentation issues, I would say you definitely have to use a brush. When I swiped both Ocean City and Sunset Beach with my fingers I got barely anything but with a brush they are very pigmented. Mangrove is gorgeous too. I ordered the other lipsticks from Nordstrom and they won't be here until Monday.

I love the pink blush so much, I ordered a BU also. I think Mangrove is gorgeous too

has anyone actually gotten the ombré effect on their face? I swiped the brush across and it came up ombré on the brush, but didn't translate to my face. it looked pretty cool on the brush lol. I don't know if it would look strange on the face like that, but I am curious if anyone can do it! also off topic but you will all be interested- watching my strange addiction and the girl is obsessed with eating makeup. that can NOT be good. she said light ans metallic colors taste best..

Its an expensive habit enough just wearing it, but to eat it too

I picked up my blushes that my SA held for me and they still had more, so I grabbed a couple extra of Ocean City just in case the online situation with MAC doesn't pan out. I'll check back tomorrow to see if they still have any more.

Eating makeup...that's somewhat disturbing and can't be good for her health. I hope she only eats drugstore stuff, otherwise it could be an expensive habit.

I will admit that I did try the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and the Chocolate Bar Palette and they actually taste like chocolate. I guess that makes me a little nutty too lol.

*Just to clarify, I didn't take a bite out of anything, just a little finger swipe.
