So I'm currently digging through my stack of old receipts to find the one for my Stila Nouveau Natural Eye Shadow Palette. I have that MUFE Artist Palette in Nudes and it makes me what to get rid of one of my other nude palettes that are just sitting there.. I have

  • Naked
  • Naked 3
  • Chocolate Bar
  • 3 ABH palettes that are pretty much nude
  • KVD Ladybird
  • Lorac Unzipped
  • Lorac Unzipped Gold
  • KVD Monarch Palette
  • Too Faced Natural Eyes

See that I mean and that's not even all. However in true make up addict fashion I don't want to do a straight return. I would like to exchange for something else. I was thinking another MUFE Trio, a Marc Jacobs palette, another Armani Eye Tint? Any suggestions?
u don't like ur naked 3? I took the first 2 nakeds off my list (someone STOLE my shyt) to replace. I still like my chocolate bar tho but im pretty much DONE wit neutral palettes!

Same here! My kids are younger, my son is 7 and daughter 2. But girrrrrrrllll, let me tell you about this girl of mine! I cry daily. Literally. She is a handful. She does the opposite of what you want, disagrees, argues, is independent whereas my son was so chill and went with the flow as long as he was fed. He's still my boo and loves his Mama. He's no saint, actually his school called me yesterday because he had a tantrum, but he's a sweet kid. Don't get me wrong, my daughter is sweet and loving too, but she just wants to do her, if you don't like it, tough cookies. Which doesn't always work when you're, for ex, trying to rush to get ready in the mornings. You take the tv off, "NOOOO, I WANTED TO DOOO ITTTTTTT", then she loses it. Her brother is going to have a shower before her, she loses it. You offer her Cheerios and she wanted Goldfish, she loses it. Hahahaha. Love them both to pieces though  @YarahFlower  I know what you mean, dressing my son was a challenge because I didn't want to do the traditional corny stuff. He's still fly :haha: . My daughter, whole new world of possibilities when it came to dressing, then there are accessories, shoes, wooo! So easy to get carried away.
I TOTALLY had one of those days with my kid, she's being so mean about things too. If I take one of my favorite pieces of makeup off of her and give her something I don't care about she gets mad and throws it. If I don't give her something she asks for in a timely manner, she throws it. She was supposed to go to daycare today, but she kicked me in the mouth TWICE in the same place when I was trying to put her socks on. My lip is purple and the whole crease between my lip and my gums is split open. I actually had to go upstairs and cry in bed for a little while, so we missed the cut off time for the daycare. I'm seriously tempted to drop her off at my cousins for the rest of the week. Haha

Becca, Hell YEAH!! That's a huge improvement. Stila is mud to me now -- it's just a very stale, dead brand which is kind of helpful for me because that's at least one section I can skip over at Sephora! haha. Seriously though, a lot of Stila's products don't work the way I'd like them to... at least for myself.
Towards the end the only thing I liked from Stila was the Smudge pots, but they don't even have them on Sephora.com anymore.

Hmm, you're going to have to go into stealth mode to confiscate back those stolen cosmetics. Does she have a secret stash somewhere? I admire her craftiness. I remember hiding stuff all the time when I was a kid.
I'm pretty sure the makeup is hidden in my room, I just can't figure out where. I tried looking again today. Maybe one day her dad will pull a shirt out of his gym bag and a blush will come flying out in the middle of the locker room. Haha

is this gonna be perm? I've fallen bored with mac lately BUT with their matte collection comin soon im gonna grab: matte royal, stone, and maaaaybe whirl. u don't like ur naked 3? I took the first 2 nakeds off my list (someone STOLE my shyt) to replace. I still like my chocolate bar tho but im pretty much DONE wit neutral palettes!
I'm getting Matte Royal, Stone and maybe Instigator. First two for sure. The new Fix+'s will be perm. I love my Naked 3.

Omg they're so mean! I gave her her vitamins this morning. This evening my husband used them to bribe her to get out the bath, so I gave her one vit c gummy (she normally gets her Flintstone and two vit c gummies, esp when she's sick)...she was pissed she only got one so she threw it clear across the kitchen! Wtf?! Then my son, I let him bring a book to school today. He comes home and tells us he THREW AWAY his homework because it got wet (pls don't ask how). Wth does that?? It can dry! Anyway it wasn't until a while after that I remembered the book. I ask him. I get the puzzled look, he leaves the room to "look for it". Comes back, "I think I left it at school". I lost it. Then the more you ask, the more you find out. He doesn't tell you the whole story right away to get it over with. It turns into an interrogation. Law & Order. So basically he left it at afterschool, which means it's lost forever. I really think he threw it out!! I just made him go to sleep pronto. If it were the Lebron cap he keeps begging to wear to school everyday he would have probably taped it to his head so he wouldn't lose it! Now she fell asleep and I'm still watching Peppa Pig until Blackish comes on  Love these pigs! The ones on Peppa Pig too

Time Sq Sephora has a whole Stila layout and their rep was even there today. I asked her about UD before she told me she was the Stila rep, lol.

I have to say, I'm enjoying all these fragrance samples I've been accumulating from Sephora, Ulta and Nordstrom! I have a whole makeup bag full. Needless to say, I need a rollerball one to take advantage of Sephora's 3x points promo. I think I'm getting Chloe...Smelled a Tocca one from the sample envelope Sephora sent promoting the sale and it's so nice! I have to see which one it is. Love Gucci Premiere. La Vie Est Belle. Always loved Clinique Happy. Smelled Black Opium today (free with code on Sephora) and I like it but I'm going to get a more Spring/Summer scent. Went to Sephora today and saw that they have their "Fragrance Favs" in a package for $24 but you can bring in a voucher from inside the box to get a free rollerball. But they're regular sample sizes and I'm sure I have those at home so it's not worth it. I don't have a signature scent so I think rollerballs are the way to go for me. I still have perfumes from many moons ago that aren't done. I pretty much killed off Miss Dior though, it's starting to go bad now   (was a perfume fanatic but when I started having kids I slowed down, didn't want to many fragrances around them).
I just got Nirvana Black and looove it! Hypnotic Poison and Alien are two all time favorites, but NB just put itself in my top 3

Thanks. That kid makes me so happy! She kind of drove me nuts yesterday because when I was making dinner she was getting into my makeup. I had no idea. It was the stuff I don't use regularly so I keep them in these big sterilite towers in my room. When I went to find her she had taken out one of the drawers and cleared it out. I have no idea where that makeup went. She also had some brown stuff all over her face. Eyeshadow? Bronzer? Who knows
I am DREADING the day this happens! I tossed pretty much my whole makeup collection while I was pregnant with my daughter and between moves, and I never really wore makeup for the first year or so since she was born so everything I have is relatively new. I'm always praying she doesn't get into my makeup. I think I need to leave some decoys out for her. She LOVES makeup too, to the point that every time I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed, she will sit next to me and give commentary on people's lipstick. "too frumpy" "too funky" "too booky" she makes up her own words to describe them too, and she gets mad if I scroll past a picture without letting her critique it. :haha:
Yeah do you. I can't stand it when I'm offered way too much input. Mind you, depending on the sa, I'll take their advice, like the mua I met at the Smashbox counter last week at Macy's who does Iman's makeup and did makeup in the first 5 seasons of ANTM, I'll listen to him. And he took his time to talk to me. I can't handle the Sephora ones who zoom by with their 2 cents. Eff off, plus your own face looks jacked. Anywho, yesterday I wore the EL with the Smashbox hydrating primer, but I didn't let that dry properly so my face felt sticky when I put the foundation on. Today I used my Avon MagiX Face Perfector under and it's a little dry, crap, I think I forgot to put on my moisturizer! That explains it! I put on my eye creams and Fix + then the stupid primer and forgot my moisturizer! LMAOOOOO, so may steps now and my husband has been home when I've been getting ready all week because he has jury duty and he makes me nervous because he's always talking about how long it takes me to put on my makeup or if he's not saying it, I feel like he wants to and he gets me all frazzled. Then the 2yr old diva who fights me for the mirror to put on her makeup (she also uses her makeup brush on her toes, I'm forever sanitizing it!) Hot mess=me. Hahaha. But I like the foundation. I'm trying to use it without my Becca SSP and anything else to see how it is on it's own. Maybe if I get it together and do my routine properly I can really see  . I think your best bet is the original because you can put the moisturizer, but wear it alone when you want to be more made up. The Light won't give you the full coverage if you want that. Or get both, lmao! :poke:
LOL! I hate when the SA has jacked up makeup! It's like, how do you work here and NONE of your colleagues have said anything to you? Have you looked in the mirror? I laughed out loud when I saw what you said about hubby saying you take too long! I usually leave the bathroom door open while I get ready so my daughter can run in and out, but I'll always see her dad just walk into the doorway, observe for a couple seconds, and then walk out. IT MAKES ME SO SELF CONSCIOUS!!! LOL like he's trying to tell me to hurry up without actually saying anything. I made the mistake of telling him back before Christmas that I had "pretty much everything I wanted" and he tried to use that against me the other day like "I thought you said you had everything!" I was like *north west face* "THAT WAS SIX MONTHS AGO!"

I think I might go with the original DW and then the Estee BB cream! Then I should get the best of both worlds. I need to 100% get back on my makeup game. I've been slacking since I became a mom. I feel like a Kim K stuck in Mimi Bobeck's vanity. :haha:

Hugs!! What a rough day. I've been losing patience with my two year old lately, too. 37 weeks preggo and all she wants to do is jump on my belly. Last night she hurled a maracca at my head. Luckily it missed and hit the wall behind me but BOY my wrath was awoken lol. All because I wanted to put her PJs on.

Lmao do we have the same life!? Your daughter sounds like mine, and the interrogation bit is totally something I have to go through with her dad! He is so bad at full disclosure! Even for little things like forgetting something at the grocery store. It never comes out until I've already started cooking and need to use that item. "Oh I forgot" "they didn't have it" "there's a shortage I looked everywhere!" It would be comical if it weren't happening to me lol. Also, yes, Peppa Pig. I love that show.

Does anyone know how often the Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Shampoo gets restocked? I wanted to order one for my mom, but it's sold out.

They're only careful with the stuff that THEY care about, until they get really mad, then it all gets ripped and thrown. I was watching Peppa Pig too. Haha. They drive me nuts though. I call them the JoAnns because I used to work with a lady named JoAnn who would walk around the office constantly snorting snot down her throat. Of course I called her Peppa and only the moms of toddlers got the joke. Haha.

I get things launched at me sometimes too. Today it was a bottle of nail polish because I wouldn't open it for her. She's lucky it didn't shatter on the ceramic tile! If it's after 7:30pm and she's acting like that I will manhandle a nightgown on her and put her to bed.
