I guess it would make sense to have her just collaborate on one lipstick, rather than a whole collection, given that she's not established enough as some of you have mentioned. And I know that we have all mentioned how great it would be to have a non-red Viva Glam color, so maybe they finally listened and we'll be getting a purple Viva Glam this year. Who knows?!

You're quite right, I forgot about the Cyndi/Gaga duo collab. That's because Beyonce is a natural-look-aholic. It looks good on her of course, but its basically natural makeup + some eyeliner or falsies and a natural lip for Beyonce. I feel like I can count on two hands the number of times she's worn a vampy lip for public appearances and one hand all her dramatic eye looks. Whereas Rihanna walks out the door wearing grey lipstick, lol. I may not like her personality but I definitely vibe with Rihanna on a visual tip, I love crazy colors and actually making a statement vs. just looking pretty. I think that's what pinkpaint meant, on any given day I may not be able to stand Rihanna, Gaga, or Nicki but they definitely have a very strong defined appearance and have set trends. Maybe Lorde will get there given more time, because she definitely has a very strong style and personality clothing and opinion wise.

Haven't really liked any of the Collaboration Collections. This one will probably be no different.

I don't want to sound like a butt but the people saying she's not very relevant or that the dark lipsticks aren't relevant in the summer sound out of touch with teenage style. Dark lipstick is HUGE right now and will continue to be so and the Lorde look/music/style is RIGHT up that alley. It's very very huge amongst teenagers and young adults. It goes along with the 90s revival and grunge look that tumblr has made popular again. So I think it makes perfect sense for them to go down this route and attract younger buyers.

That top pic of lorde...she looks like a zombie lol I LOVED the riri collection and I think most people did that's why they were pissed when they missed out. It was annoying how limited mac made it but I love most the colors!

Not to be mean, but I don't think dark or purple lips are flattering on her. She looks a lot prettier (and younger) in the pic without lisptick, or a nude one, I can't tell.

I like Lorde. She's quite new and I don't know her personally so I can't say that I dislike her. Her music is fun and she is different. She's an old soul for a 16/17 year old, that's for sure. She writes her own music so I respect that. Honestly, I would rather have MAC collaborate with her then someone as annoying as Lady Gaga and Rihanna, I don't care for Nicki Minaj but that collection, those lipsticks were awesome, love them. I'm not going to get excited for this collection until I see swatches because MAC has been very lazy when it comes to creativity lately.

Thank God they haven't collaborated with Swift or Cyrus. Ugh.

They should collaborate with Lana Del Rey.

And Jennifer Lawrence. But that's just me. I'm so obsessed with her, it's funny.
