MAC Couture November 2006 [color story]

I have to say that I am seriously dissapointed that the box is a clutch... I was so looking forward to it being a train case. I need more storage, and didn't want to invest so much in another 1.6

^ yea me too. I had a feeling that it wouldn't be a traincase though even though some member's said that it was. Oh well i still may get it depending on how nice it is.

I finally got to see the pics of the couture stuff yesterday and it turned me off. Now i don't want it

. Everything is angular ( i like softer rounder forms) and the glosses are in tubes that look like the chanel ones. The powder is in the rectangular case. The MA said it is quite heavy. I hope it was because the pics didn't do the items any justice.

I just spoke with a few MAC Ma's from the Bay and they said that the Couture sollection is in their update books as well, and one of the girls that went to the MAC update said that The Bay locations WILL be getting the collection, and it launches November 30th

Don't worry, I hear they are doing the traincase over. I go to update in my area on the 15th, I'll let you know what I find out.

Weird, the MAs at my Bay said that I'd have to go to a Freestanding to get any Couture stuff, even though they had seen it in the update book. :/

I don't plan on buying anything from this collection, in part because the colors don't sound unique at all but also because I don't want to contribute to MAC being quite that expensive. One reason I get MAC as opposed to for example Chanel is the price range.

bt u Guyz have a kindda of a cheaper price than us here!! our MAC prices are DOUBLE than US or Canda.. + they dont offer any discounts 4 us.. !! (>__ <)

I guess the collection might be available in stores by End of Dec. or beggin of Jan.. we are the last to get any new collections..

I'm glad that there isn't anything from this collection that interests me. All of these collections are tugging my wallet in too many directions, but at least I can pass on these, and that means more for those who like it

I got a chance to check this stuff out at Update yesterday. The lipsticks are AMAZING. I tried on Influential, I have to have it! Unfortunately, NO ONE gets a discount on these items.
