I didn't know this was going to be in stores today smh I would've stopped by, but I guess I will order online. In my cart so far blue ivy, deep fixation and artistic lisence.

I think they would all look lovely against your eyes, but Deep Fixation and Artistic License especially.
Exactly, the undertone of those two shadows enhances blue eyes so much. That's why I picked them up

I hate the differences in quality we all experience.  MAC needs to step up their quality control.  Like my Deep Fixation feels amazing and buttery, but someone on here said that it felt dry when they swatched it in the store.  That couldn't be further from my experience with it.
All samples in store are always rougher in quality imo.

Oh yes, those are my favorite types of colors to wear. My pupils are always huge for some strange reason, so my eye color blends in with them unless I wear colors that bring out the blue. I honestly only wear purple on my eyes when I plan to be outside because that's the only time I can enhance the green ring in the center (which can't be seen in any other light).

I might go ahead and get DF because I know I will get a lot of use out of it all year long. I plan to get the new Too Faced Country palette and that has a identical dupe for AL, so I should probably skip that one.

You may have gotten a dud. I feel the same way about Violent Trance. Everyone else says how easy it is to work with it. I have to scrape that color with a spatula to get it to work.
I hate that damn shadow so much I call it Violent Trance without thinking about it. I meant Violet Trance.

My swatch video is up for those that are interested! As always, the link to my YouTube is in my signature.

Swatches included:

Moody Bloom Sheen Supreme lipstick
Blooming Mad eyeshadow
Deep Fixation eyeshadow
Artistic License eyeshadow
Hidden Motive eyeshadow

Fantastic video, Mandy! Thank you! I was only going to get Black Ivy, but I'm sold on several of the eyeshadows now.

I agree but I have to admit of all the shadows I have from MAC Violet Trance is the only one I want to throw against a wall. That says something about their general quality.
Oh very true agreed. Sometimes rougher quality shadows end up in hands of customers.

If you got Deep Fixation and nothing else, I would still call it a great haul!

The one that drove me crazy is bitter smh. I ended it up breaking up into a loose eyeshadow works a little better smh.

Was going to wait and pick up Green Room in store this weekend (if they had it still) but wanted to pick up mac mixing medium eyeliner so just got it online. My first order from Nordies should be here by monday....it's wants to hit all the states before getting to me of course.

That's one that always seems to work better on fair skin. It shows up a lot better then. When I've watched the darker skinned lovelies try to put it on (without a white base) it always seems to show up as just a sickly wash.
