That's disappointing.  I hate MAC's polish formula.  Those of you who like Ocean Dip and would like something similar should try Sephora OPI's "Ocean Love Potion".  While not identical, the colors are definitely in the same family, and the formula is divine.
Ocean Love Potion is one of my favorite nail polishes of all time. It's amazing and I'm glad it's not limited edition.

I think I've finally made my final list...

- Surf USA e/s
- Sun Blonde e/s
- Hibiscus l/s
- My Paradise blush

I will not add on anything to this list...nope...not gonna happen...I have self-control....
or that's just what I'm going to keep telling myself until the release date :p

I have bust out and Spitfire .. at first sight they seem similar!!! But tonight I've tried them over naked liner and are not the same at all! Spitfire turns a magenta pink, while Bust out it's more purple^^ I have pigmented lips and this makes turn red every color :( I should post a comparison picture
Good to know. I have the same problem with many purple-toned lipsticks, they all turn more pink/ red on me. Even Violetta looks more like Magenta on my lips. If Bust Out can hold its purple-ness, that definitely makes me more interested...

I phoned up MAC to see how they were coming along with sending me my proper SB stuff, and they said that they STILL hadn't sent it and it'd be a week and a half before I'd get it due to delays in the warehouse! So I just cancelled it :( I'm gonna go to debenhams tomorrow and have a look at stuff instead. So frustrated with mac!!
Oh that is crap, I haven't had my missing lipstick yet but if it doesn't arrive today I will ring them tomorrow when I am out if the MAC counter in Tunbridge Wells has stock and buy it there instead providing they haven't sent it already. I'm not waiting for age for them to correct their mistake.

Ok, so I went to mac yesterday intent on only buying 1 item from this collection - the gold-go-lightly careblend bronzer. I DID buy the cremeblend and from what I can tell it is fantastic. Haven't really worn it properly yet, so I will update again when I do, but its soft, ultra-blendable and matte which is exactly what I wanted. I also picked up a natural careblend from the perm. collection to replace my MSFN.

There was nothing else that interested me, and having seen the swatches of 'my paradise' I had completely ruled it out as I felt I had things that were similar. Infact, I was wearing ripe peach when I went to the counter yesterday (one of the items I have which I though might be similar to my paradise)....

Anyway, after I had swatched everything else from the collection, I decided to swatch 'my paradise' - OMG!!! It looked beeeaaaauuuutttiiiiffffuuuulllll!!!!! But I still convinced myself that without the gold shimmer from the overlay, it would be very similar to one of the shades I already own. Well.... I asked the MA to put some on me, and WOW it is wonderful! Probably one of my most favourite blushes EVER! Bearing inmind that I was wearing ripe peach at the time, and I was still totally and utterly blown away by 'my paradise'. Infact, it IMO it is prettier than ripe peach (with the exception that ripe peach has the darker shade which means you can do a contour/sunset effect on your cheeks - which I love).

I had to buy it, even though initially I had been tempted not to even swatch it. It's odd, because blushes are usually the one thing in a collection that interests me the most, but this time I wasn't interested at all and it turned out to be one of the best blushes ever. For reference, I'm only NW15 and I think this blush is perfect for all skin tones - us paler girls included!

Now I just need to work out how to apply it like she did. She didn't do anything special, just threw it on with a big-ish fluffy brush, and it looked great. She applied it so that the colour was really heavy, much heavier than I would usually wear, but I loved it. Can't seem to recreate it very well today though, she just got a better shape to the blush etc... must practice with heavier applications...

The best thing is, this blush is super pigmented but also blends really well and I easily built it up from a subtle corally-peachy-orangy glow to full on in-your-face coral today. Although admittedly not with the flair of the MA... sigh.

P.S.... a little tip for all you girls worried about running out of the gold overspray on this blush - the MA said that 'gold deposit' MSF is the perfect match - just add a little of that to your 'my paradise' when the gold overlay runs out and a voila - like new

I personally wouldn't have thought Gold Deposit would be a match, as in pictures I've seen of it, it looks very coppery rather than gold. I've not seen it in real life, though

I thought exactly the same as you, I even said to her that it looked scary in the pan! but when she applied it to her hand, the colour pretty much disapeared and just left the gold sparkles behind.

I would never have considered buying gold deposit before, but I will keep it in mind for the future as it looks like it probably would work well in this instance when you just want the slight golden shimmer/sparkle.
Good call. Nars Multiples are great. Palm Beach is especially amazing. So... Hibiscus Sun Blonde I keep playing with the idea of other stuff, but I'm not feeling it enough. I need to be picky so, just the two things I feel I desperately need. I've decided that after this collection, I am going on an eyeshadow no-buy. I have so many that I can't even figure out what to wear. How is that possible?
Yea i have so many i dont even touch some of them. Im getting swell baby only because i have no grey shadows. The only way ill buy it is if ill b2m it or if it has special packaging. This is just getting ridiculous! I was thinking about the nars palm beach multiple and the Cap vert. Ill probably get palm beach first since u say its amazing.

It's not dark grey, but it's not too light either. It's one of my favorite shadows by any brand. Aaand, on the multiple note, Malibu is another great one, but Palm Beach is my favorite. I can't wait to see more of Bust Out. I'm waiting to see something that tells me I need it. That's kinda sad isn't it? I need something different from Violetta, Go For It, Up the Amp, etc.

I checked out the collection today and only got 1 thing! Hibiscus was reeeeeally pretty, but just too bright for me, so I got See Sheer l/s instead. All of the shadows were super pigmented, and I may go back for Sun Blonde - it's a really interesting goldish mustard colour. In the end I only got Blue Noon eye pencil for my Mum as a present :)

Gotta put in a word about Bust Out! - this one has some of the same problems other lustres have for red pigmented lips.

When I tried it yesterday, it did definitely give me a purply glow - it operates in this department just like Playtime, where the nifty purple tone comes from something of a highlight in the color, aside from the general base color as it shows on the lips.

Unfortunately, unlike Playtime, Bust Out's base was too sheer for my lip color and just wound up looking like a muddy, reddish berry. It'd definitely look better if my skin tone was tanner (it'd look brighter too), even with the weird way the color mixed with my lip pigmentation.

Applying it over a neutral lip liner would probably be the only way to go for me with this one, and even then, it still is no Go For It. I guess the upside is that every skin color and lip tone will be given her own perfect purple with all these varying colors and textures MAC's tossing out there. I think Bust Out! will be some people's HG purple for sure, just not mine.
