Spent their whole paycheck on that outfit, nails and hair... for what? A launch party? For real? And then can't afford to buy the products but are busy talking to everyone drinking up everything they can get their hands on and posing for the camera and wasting salespeople's time... don't get me started. SMH.

So true! My lord, you are making me have flashbacks from living in Hell-A....

They might be starting to list things on the regular site. I did a search for "surf baby" and "shorts shots" both came up in the search results. When I clicked on the surf baby eye shadows link it takes me to a blank page, but it would let me add short shorts to my shopping bag from the search results pages.

I wish it could begin for the rest of us commoners. Damn. Let's go!

i am so ready to buy it also. i feel like a crackhead just waiting and anticipating!

btw.. i ordered Nars Cap Vert, and Malaysia multiples. I decided to skip Palm beach but I know that I will regret it.... i will probably get that next month. I just wanted more matte products this month. Mac is making me spend my money on other brands

Hibiscus is a must.. as is the blonde es.. and the rest are ok, but not getting my cigar..not even the blush which I found had to be worked on a lot in order to tone it down on my skin...or I got full on clowny face (I suspect it's something to do with the pigmentation cause I have blushes which are extremely bright and they did not give me a problem)

Do all standing MAC stores have launches for each of the collections? Does it just depend, store-to-store? I called up my closest location and they said they weren't having a launch party. Does that mean that they really aren't having one, or they're just not having one for me? Maybe invitations are only given in-store?

I think they want things to sell out so there will be hype and going to the store in person so that folks will end up buying more when they see all the pretty colors. Plus the drama drives up the demand. But I agree to not get so excited or upset if something sells out, we know that they repromote like crazy and there are usually makeup mcguyver divas that can dupe whatever is so crucial they can charge three times the price on ebay. I think once people quit getting so dramatic about it, maybe they will go back to ordering a normal amount of product and quit being so dodgey with the release dates. I think they like to fuel the illusion of exclusivity to drive up the obsession, demand, and of course the sales.

I totally agree Martiangirl. MAC is the QUEEN of hype! It can get a bit ridiculous. I also wish folks would stop buying 12 of an item (just trifling). It's so unneccesary. Marine Life was like that... folks just CLEANED OUT THE STOCK. For a coral blush with a gold overspray... let's keep this in perspective people.

I never understood that buying in bulk thing. I'm buying for me, my auntie, my mama, my boss, my baby that hasn't been conceived yet, etc. After Marine Life came out, I went to the Mac store I frequent and the manager told me that a lady came in, asked how many he had and said great, I'll take them all. It was like 8! Really? So if he had said 50, you would've taken them? I see 2 or 3, at the most. Heaven knows I bought 2 or Marine Life on the spot(and I don't regret it) and 2 Go For It lipsticks, but some of this is just excessive.

HG, what do you think of the Careblend bronzers?
Also has there been any comparison of the blonde es and Old Gold piggie?

The only 'backup' products I'm ever interested in are glosses (because I blow through them like crazy) and powder products. I get one backup, and if it's a MUST.HAVE, then I'll get one for a giveaway. Otherwise, I just get one product. I only have one face! And even with working on clients... I don't use up powder products that quickly.

Thank you! I am crossing My Paradise off my list. I was worried it was too orange and I have to be careful of blush that oxidizes on me anyway, so this one is officially off the list.
Sun Blonde looks so unique! I am hoping this one too brings out the gold flecks in my eyes.

If My Paradise had the gold hibiscus all the way through (wasn't just an overspray) I'd be willing to bite the bullet. I HAVE to get Hibiscus and Sun Blonde though...along with a few other things. :) I did order Short Shorts today though... One down...SO MANY to go. Come on MAC!

Now I don't know if I want to buy any new makeup after what I just heard on the news! They have ruined Springsheen blush for me and I've been using is all month! I don't know if I should throw it away or keep using it since I love it so much.
