Omg, the MAC site really is horrible. It's keeps telling me I reached my limit, yet there is nothing in my cart. They are going to gave to fix that for next time.

I bought the whole collection at my local MAC store. Within 2-5 minutes, most of the lipsticks exception of Tats and Lena gloss sold out. I hope Bianca B works on my skintone without the powdered donut effect lol.

:sheep:  I can only laugh now because I got what I wanted but man oh man I would be so ticked right now if I hadn't Did you get anything babe?
Not from the site launch! I did get Charlotte and Eugenie last week and am now fixing to head to the mall for Tats and Margherita. Bianca B may pop in there too after seeing that gorgeous combo with Nightmoth. Lol

I think before the shitty site, a lot of people got theirs when it launched in error at some locations, then at the various dept. stores online. Usually MAC is first online so things usually sell out there. BB sold out at Herald Sq btw. Just left. Eugenie is like Sin, Charlotte reminds me of Philip Treacy Cardinal, Tats of Pink Pigeon and Margherita of Sushi Kiss. Bianca B is whiteout. Kidding! Kinda...just exfoliate.

Are we supposed to get the PRO discount on these? The site is so slow, I may skip the whole thing if there's no discount.

- Problems adding items to cart
- Problems getting to cart
- Problems editing cart
- Got signed out 5x
- Waited on hold with customer service, only to be told they couldn't help me check out

It took over an hour... but I think I placed my order. If this is going to follow RiRi infamy, I'll get an email saying the items are all out of stock. LOL.

I ordered, I must have been one of the earliest, there was lagging but it went through in a few mins - plus using Paypal to checkout slowed me down a bit. All up it was probably about 4-5 mins but it felt very slow.
Same here. I didn't even choose a sample because it jumped to another screen and I didn't want to try to go back. It's bad when you buy a lipstick that u don't want because it won't let u remove it.

Nah, I think they're just being greedy. I don't think they put that much thought into it. They're probably thinking that since people usually go nuts over the LE stuff that they can sell it at full price and IF something is left in 2 weeks, then they'll sell it with the discount.
I agree that more money is their main aim but I have heard in corners that they don't think that the pros NEED LE stuff.

I'll have to agree to somewhat disagree with you here, because for me, I feel that if I was paying for that membership, I should be entitled to the newest items first, like it used to be. I see their initiative nothing more than them offering a discount to encourage you to use their product more than other brands as a means to advertise because real pros are usually on sets, working magazines, at high volume weddings with tons of women, etc. Remember, when the discount was first offered, it was the highest discount among brands all around, and back then it was free. Mac does no one any favors. It's about money. They just want everyone paying full price as much as possible...
No I agree with you that if you're paying for something (i.e. pro membership) and basically giving them free advertising, there should be some exclusivity! If I was playing devil's advocate, I'd say that if they wanted to delay Pros, to make more money, perhaps they should just make more effing stock altogether! Their business plan is just absolutely ridiculous!

I agree--it's all the e-commerce functions of the site that don't work. The splash screens aren't necessary, but they sort of work. It's the add to cart, sign in, check out. You know, the important stuff. I'm done. I tried on MAC's site for over an hour and no luck.

I called the pro number and they can't take phone orders at time due to technical difficulties. She referred me to MAC stores and department store websites (like Macy's, Nordstrom, which are sold out).

On the good news side of things, I placed a pre-order for a Tom Ford cream. So, there's that.
