I checked out the new Huda palette in store today and it’s a pass for me. Those aren’t colors I would use much and the shades make me think I won’t get a variety of looks. The Huda palette was on display right next to the Too Faced Gingerbread palette - now that one is right up my alley. I didn’t get it ...yet. I want to see some reviews and tutorials people have done.

*deep sigh* So I got the Gold palette from Sephora this morning. They only had three left. I started swatching other Natasha stuff and the holiday chroma crystal in full metal bronze looked so nice that I decided to just grab that too. Well, I got home, opened it and... the product is shrunken into a ball and came right out the pot because I was holding it at an angle. It fell right into my hand. The shade is gorgeous, but this thing is going back for an exchange. I'm annoyed because I'm sick as hell right now and I thought I wouldn't have to go back to Sephora for at least a week.

Yeahhhh....between the F&F sale, the first weekend of this sale, the second weekend of this sale, the Beautylish gift card event, and Ulta's FOUR 20% off coupons they've now sent me....

Treat Yo'self! Just see it as self care lol.
Guys, I went to Sephora and got the new Huda palette, another bottle of the CoverFX foundation (I told myself I didn't need it now, but I do) and a travel size perfume by Viktor and Rolf. I had to stop myself from getting the full size V&R perfume because it's almost $200(!) but it smells so good. I might have to get it eventually, but idk. Anyway, I almost bought that Natasha Denona palette after saying I don't need it! I got a Christmas bonus and I was reswatching it because there are like 5 stunning colors in it, but I ultimately put it back. I still don't think her brand is worth that price and I'll just wait for whatever Pat McGrath does next. Maybe she'll do a gold palette.
I see that you already caved on the Gold palette but I have to agree with MaryJane... there's something special about the ND palettes. I have Sunset and Lila and they're truly beautiful. I love my Pat McG palettes too but they're different experiences, if that makes sense. At least Auntie Pat gives us sale codes and discounted bundles though *side eyes ND*.
Thanks for the reminder. Kept going back and forth, but that's the nail in the coffin I needed for the Safari palette.

I did swatch it because I thought it would be my first big ND palette. It was awful.

She has this one wet looking gold shade in that gold palette and I wish it was sold as a single. It has Christmas all over it and I want it so bad.

This makes me sad. The one I swatched in store was so glorious! I ordered it from Beautylish but I've decided if it disappoints I'll just send it back. I need to at least try it for myself because people's reviews have been hate it or love it :(

I hope it works out for you! The tutorials I've seen have ranged from people hating it to people really liking it, but admitting it's not for beginners. I'm not a beginner at shadow, but I'm not trying to work with a fussy palette either. Too bad because I love the color story.

I agree with you. A $129 palette should not be fussy!

Such a bummer. Hope you feel better soon!

I successfully resisted the Gold Palette...until I went in store and swatched it. Then I had to have it.
If they didn't have it in store, if I didn't see it and swatch it in person I would never have gotten it. But once I swatched it I had to have it. It really is beautiful and unique.
And golds, bronzes and browns are my weakness.
I hope I love it...if not, back it goes.

I swatched the ND Gold at my store and it was incredibly underwhelming. I’m wondering now if the tester was just wrecked. It did look fairly gross.

My last minute purchases were the Surratt medium smoky eye brush, Surratt highlighter brush, a couple cans of dry shampoo, and the Josie Maran Vibrancy foundation. I’ve never tried the Josie Maran. It was a total impulse, so we’ll see if it’s a keeper. I’ve been trying to steer away from fragrance, lots of silicones, and alcohol when it’s in the top 3 ingredients. I think I’m finally starting to figure out what my skin will and won’t tolerate and in what dosage.

Does anyone have an eye cream they're really into and loyal to? It doesn't have to be sold at Sephora - I'm just asking here since this is one of the most active threads! I am mainly concerned with aging and not as much with extreme dark circles or puffiness. Although, if it does it all, I'd be into that too.

I'm sitting here wondering why I'm trying to find more things to order lol. I really don't need anything else!

I wore the Gold palette today. It was cute. I didn't do anything extra, didn't dip into those really gold shades because of what I was wearing, but it came out nice. I'm looking forward to trying the bolder shades soon.

I don't. I have given up on eye creams. One youtuber I watch said she doesn't believe in them and just uses her serums or whatever under her eyes and I'm like ya know I'm gonna do that too. In all my time using all kinds of eye creams I've never found one that did a damn thing to help. I think it's a sham.

I'm doing the same damn thing.

Oh I forgot to mention I ordered the PM balm in Flesh Fatale. Could not help myself.

Have you tried the belif eye cream? I like the way it makes my sahara under eyes feel. But then again the Neutrogena Hydroboost Serum works in a pinch too.

Thank you! I’ll add it to my list!
