All Things Sephora

And that's so dumb. I'm sitting here looking at over 2000 points on my account and really, it means nothing. I don't have anything to show for it besides a mini Bite set. Fantastic.
It's ridiculous. Sorry for those who missed sleep but I'm glad I didn't. I refreshed all morning though

"I refreshed my screen every 10 seconds, had my items in my cart already, was signed into my account and as soon as I hit the very last button to purchase it was gone! I didn't sleep, I didn't eat. And to make matters worse, as soon as I realized EVERYTHING was gone I got a knock at my door from the UPS man. 2 of my Sephora orders showed up.
I'm returning all of it. I will not be shopping with Sephora at all anymore. I have spent thousands of dollars in that store just in the past few months and I feel like I'm waiting in line at a freaking food pantry just begging for morsels. This is how your biggest customers get treated?
I am done!!!"

That's what I wrote to them. I wish I was kidding, but I really won't be spending my money there anymore.

well at least I got the VIB appreciation sample bag during the 4X points days. Maybe I can be content with that.

*seriously considering returning any product that I still have a box for or that was just ok. Even the empty jars.* can you imagine?? Hi sephora I used this entire jar of moisturizer but I didn't like it. Can I have my money back?"

if it was a lottery I think people would have less issue with it. The fact that people have points, especially over 1000, makes them think they are able to get a reward. They really have to rethink what they are doing and how they are doing it.
I agree. Plus the fact that this promotion came right after the 2x/3x/4x points promotion is undoubtedly leaving a sour taste in people's mouths. True, no one had to buy anything, but given that there were so many rewards, the potential may have created a perception that there was a genuine chance.

I was on the site at the correct time refreshing and nothing ever came into stock... That seems like a crapshoot and not rewards. Twice in a row, Sephora. Take your 11000 points and shove it!

I should not have tried to get these rewards. I am so extra dramatic. now I have attributed me not being able to find the reward to the rest of my entire life and not being able to reach life goals!! Does anyone else do this? Everything is absolute and horrible I need a nap. I guess after lunch I'll be back to normal. need food :/
I TOTALLY get it. Hang in there.

Seriously, I feel like if they refuse to have a decent amount of stock they should say something like "for a chance to win/snag..." bc that's what it really is

My consolation is I already bought CPop last week to make it over 1000 pts in the first place, I already have a small Opal and the undereye brightener (haven't even made a dent in it) and don't need the brush (it sheds, right?) and blush

I knew this all along, but I think it's the hype of trying for something and I never rode the Sephora rodeo for something like this so it was an experience...that sucked royally.

We complain about MAC, but at least when we place an order, everything fills out and you literally have to click "submit order". Sephora is ridic in that it showed my name and the rest was blank. I totally didn't realize because I just saw my name and was like "Good to go!"

Right around 2:56, I refreshed, the website said it was in stock and I added it to the cart I had. I had signed in and checked my address beforehand and then posted on here to let others know the rewards were up.

And thank you. I never really win anything, so this was a nice surprise.
Im glad to hear you finally won something! And its good to know they actually did a release (even if for only a brief time:p)

It is annoying that being a Rouge member really has no benefit.. We get an extra product for our birthday present.. big f’n deal.. Someone barely shops there, complains repeatedly and gets rewarded with tons of points.. and is able to get the good prizes.. while loyal customers who spend over a $1,000 - do not get anything besides a bunch of wasted time and frustration.

(PS ~ I am talking about that person who wrote on social media she only has 1,000 points because she complained about last time..I am not talking about anyone here)..

I am tying to keep this in perspective - these are 1st world problems and in the grand scheme of things... they’re insignificant.. but it still baffles me why they play these games..

And a quick sell out with Mac is like 10 minutes, I have never seen things sell out in less than 5 seconds (I was going for the Givenchy). I saw someone on Twitter asked if they could release the quantities of each that they actually had, I would also love to know just to get an idea! But I'm sure they never would

They should have posted quantities. You that have made the hype even more unbearable? Yes. Would people have had a more realistic idea of their chances of getting anything. Yes.

Anyone know where sephora's US corp offices are?? Assuming somewhere on West Coast due to customer service hours! We need to pick their offices and call local news channel!!! Tell them we'll be coming "sometime during business hours"!!!!

I just called the VIB Rouge hotline (1 855 768 43842) and received this automated message.

"The epic rewards are now sold out. We had extremely limited quantities and they sold out quickly. To ensure that you receive out future beauty promotions please ensure you subscribe to our mail list" or something to that effect...

Right. Because subscribing to your mail list has been SOOOO HELPFUL for this event. They didnt even send me an email announcing the epic rewards were available on the website! Poorly organized.
