Admittedly I feel little stupid that I seem to be pretty much the only one who doesn't like the blushes.

I'm not sure if it was because the waxy coat that has been mentioned. I really digged in there with different brushes, which were always clean. But it was so hard to pick up product, they were just stiff and weird. And I totally expected T to give them a bad rating, so I'm surprised.
I'm glad to read that they work for most of you, though!
I needed a stuper stiff brush to remove the waxy layer, one that I don't even use on my face because it would be too painful. lol I hope the hard coat won't come back again.

There have been plenty of times I don't like something that others do.

I had to search what is a muggle. lol I hate Harry Potter, that would explain why that word is new to me! :p I still don't understand why non-makeup experts are called as muggles, I suppose it had something to do with all the drama that I missed this morning? lol

I'm that cat, that just shows up at your door one day, gives you 'the look', a little meow, possibly a little bump on the leg while purring. Eventually you take me in, b/c you feel bad for me when really I am sneaky & it's my wily cat antics that you dig! LOL. Now get me the bed next to the Alex, nothin' to see here just takin' a 17 hour long nap...
I had a cat like that once!
On topic...I'm not 100% sure of my skin tone, I'd say probably around NW15...I'm trying to decide if At Dusk would be better or Pink Buttercream Pearlmatte.  I'm in love with the design on the Pearlmatte but I'm trying to force myself to not buy it just because of the design.
Definitely At Dusk if you're looking for it to have colour for a blush.
I don't know what's happened but I've become addicted to blush lately. & I love to pile it on too. I know sometimes it's a little much but it's fun & there aren't enough people who really dare to rock a lot of blush...guess that's the 80's lover coming out in me. I know this is a very stupid question/comment but I get really confused by "coral". It's just a mix of pink & orange, correct? Or does red get thrown into the mix? On the pictures of the girl wearing the blushes FI looks like it's got some pink in the mix, yes? No?
Coral cab be both a pinky orange or a red orange. Just like with any colour there can be different shades of it. FI definitely doesn't have pink in it. It has orange/red tones to it.
Wow! These look so glowy. If anyone has seen these in real life, are these accurate as far as the glowy glowy texture on the skin?  They look so different from Allura's swatches that I'm wondering whether she used a highlighter over them.  I mean, these look so amazing it makes me want them alllllllllll
They do have a bit of a soft glow to them.
I have never used my ED stuff wet and that is why I have never experienced this. A "protection overspray"....that is possible too!
I haven't used the EDSFs wet either, since they're not supposed to be used wet.
Have you tried Gingerly blush? IMO it looks very natural on darker skin-tones.
:agree:
Looks like she used a filter to make the whole pic glowy. I have an app like that.
I dont think she has filters on the pics of the blushes themselves but her face shes def using a filter. It looks just like a beautifying filter in app where it smooths you out. I mean if she really isnt using a filter on her face then woow she really has an awesome face and im jealous!
Yeah there's definitely a smoothing app on the picture!

My haul, feel free to click on the link in my signature to see more pics! My blushes had a hard coat of something on them, WTF? Flaming Chic was worst, so it looked like it was very very sheer but I had to remove that hard stuff. It looked like when an eyeshadow get wet and it form a hard crust on them. Similar to that. Anyway, the beautiful design is gone now.

Prettiest Kitty, I so love your haul! <3 Let us know what you think of them!

I bet that with the water content in this formula, combined with this time of the year, where the temperatures are going from really cold to warm suddenly, it's probably a crust formed by abrupt water condensation, rather than an extra coating. Some folks who used wet brushes directly on their EDSF pans had some weird things going on that'd mottle the surface, which is one of my clues.

Sure, there's also a possibility that they coat the molds that shape the product in the pans with some sort of makeup equivalent of no-stick cooking spray, so there could be a residue, but I think that's less likely, due to strict quality control standards for makeup production - I didn't notice the country of manufacture of these, but aren't the previous ones Italy or Canada?
I have never used water on my EDSF but it does have a weird textured appearance in the pan. I don't tap, but swirl my brush just like for blush, it's so weird that it doesn't leave the remaining product smooth in the pan.

Question. What brush (or brushes) is best to use with the ED shadows? I've heard both positive and negative reviews about the 235 so i'm on the fence about it. TIA!

It's from the oils in your skin depositing on the product from your brush.

I have no problems with the 239 and 217.

From Keepitclassy_1 on instagram. For reference she says she's an NC40/42

I was not going to get any of the blushes, but I think I changed my mind after seeing these photos. I love at Dusk. :)
She's a NC40/42?! And these look like THAT on her?! I was going to skip this collection, but... um... hi, blushes.

I know, right? They look like they might work on me too--temptalia's pics of FI made me want it. After squinting at every single pic here, blogs, etc., I finalized my list.

I called the Pro Store in Beverly Hills. They're taking pre-orders today for Baking Beauty, Extra Dimension and Nudes & Metallics. I placed my pre-order (At dusk, Fiery Impact, Flaming Chic and Shape the Future from this collection, and some e/s from Nudes & Metallics). MAC Pro Beverly Hills said my order will ship out on the 12th, friday. Okay, I'm done with this one... no more refreshing the MAC site for me even though I do have to pay shipping.

Thank you... I have an untrained eye and blur is incredibly clear. By the way earlier I meant to saying Flaming Chic not Fiery Impact. Can't keep them straight b/c I haven't been hugely interested in them. It's also good to hear there might me a film on them that's initially messing with the color payoff. Looking forward to seeing pics on brown girls.

I won't be able to do full face swatches for tomorrow, I'm feeling dizzy and my cats are driving me crazy, so I'm sitting here with my makeup half done and my cats meowing and trying to jump in my makeup. lol Jeeeeez, leave me alone, cats! lol
