I love the four metal-x shadows I have! I'll admit that they could be easier to work it, but I still love them for the wonderful finish. Can't wait for this collection!

So . . . the question is . . . will they be usable? As shadows? Anybody think this formula will succeed where the last one failed soooooo abysmally?

I wasn't a MAC addict last year (LOL!) so I wasn't familiar with Metal X. I love creamy products so I will have to check these out.

You should definitely pick up a few, I feel they are so worth it if you use it the right way.

And these will be a whole lot better than the ones last year. The blue one is a must though!

pigment pots... whats a pigment pot? and last year I bought one and was told that it was fine and would work.. wouldnt crease .. it was a nightmare, whats to make me think that it wont again? but boy oh boy were they pretty just to look at in the pot

Of course! That is why they are bringing it back with a new formula. I think its worth a try. They make great bases for pigments

Thanks for the heads up, they look such beautiful colours.

The blue looks gorgeous, and the green, and the browns.. Looking forward to swatches

They look so pretty and unique.

I do hope the texture is different (like a paintpot with a creamier base that sticks and doesn't crease).

If that is the case, watch out.

Umm... whats up with the shadow that looks like a lavender shade? I want THAT one, but it doesn't match any of the descriptions. Maybe its really Pink Platinum & the color is just really off in the photo. Verdigris looks nice too. Damn. I didn't like working with the last ones released with Metal-X - are these really going to be reformulated?

Also, new Spiritualized pigment?! Yellow green with silver & gold pearl?! Sounds pretty!

That would be fab! I really want to try that with a pigment I have.

I think they've perhaps just said pigment pot as pigments are in the little jars, which they could think of as pots. Perhaps they aren't familiar with the pigments and mac I guess?
