Interesting. Looks just like a fluidline. Hmmm...I hope there is a discernable difference.

Someone posted an image of the tendertones in that thread... looks like they are using the same packaging for those. So my question is what happens when I wake up groggy and put gloss on my eyelid, and paint or fluidline on my lips?

There is in size. The box says 5g/0.17oz, which is larger than a Fluidline (3g/0.1oz).

I think you can tell from the moment that you touch the product what's what. Certainly you wouldn't something with a slippery feel on your lids (unless you're a fan of using vaseline or MAC's all over gloss as an eye primer).

Anyways, I'm growing more interest in these paint pots. I want to try doing some artwork on my face using eyeshadow colours, and I think this would be the perfect base!

I think it would be very hard for paints to be confused with tendertones. I mean the colour, texture, even smell are comepletely different. So, unless you don't have a sense of touch, smell, and sight, you probably won't be confusing them.

Played with all of these yesterday at update! There are some grgeous colors!!!! They are smoother than paints and dont dry as quickly, and the packaging makes it easy for dipping a brush into. You wont waste any product like you would with the paints....oh my gosh, did I mention how smooth they were?!?!?!

I'm sold on these

And theres n o way you'd confuse them for your tendertones, the consistancy is totally different and obviously the colors will give you a big hint.

So can these double as eyeliner as well as bases too? If so, I am in for something else to be addicted to besides fluidlines!

Could these be used as a liner, like fluidlines, as well as a base? Would you consider them multipurpose?

The colros arent super dark, and they can get pretty sheer when you blend them, but I'm sure witha little bit of effort you could use them that way. I'd have to go experiment a litttle.

But paints are definatly going to be a new found love for us MAC addicts!

This sounds so cool!

Found the link:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2942533/...=2383813& P=1

The colors do not seem that great. Also, it says "The next generation of a popular M·A·C formula, Paint Pots maintain all the intense traits of its inspiration."

That sounds like the Paints are going. I really hope not. I did not like the look of these. Maybe it was just me. I really do not want the paints to go.
